Aspen Valley Ranch is a multi-home family retreat and horse ranch located in Woody Creek. The project includes the installation of two miles of roads, bridges, and access trails, a municipal level utility system and infrastructure, equestrian facility, full agricultural facilities, multiple ponds, water features and agriculture level irrigation system, seven homes, a pool house (including pool, indoor/outdoor spa, and weight room), and a Historic barn renovated club house with commercial kitchen.

KFH was involved closely with the development team from the purchase and land-use/planning approval phase, Cost analysis phase, Construction phase, and continuing through punch out of the final Home. Hand-over to ownership included a completely database driven “Ranch Manual” for every aspect of the Homes and Ranch including a GIS for the entire Ranch including the agricultural and irrigation facilities.

Ranch House

3500 square feet

Serves as the hub of this multi-family compound. Steeply pitched roofs clad in rusted corrugated metal, hand hewn timber, reclaimed  siding, and Colorado Buff flagstone patios and walkways reflect traditional western ranch-style architecture to match the historic ranch property. Blackened steel trusses are modeled after the original steel trusses used in buildings on the ranch. Custom hand crafted metal doors made by a local blacksmith enclose the fireplace. 

Homestead Two

Serves as the hub of this multi-family compound.
